Description
Hertford states that the Prince's previous letter (GEO/MAIN/39022) had confirmed that his brother Hugh Seymour would keep his position in the Prince's Household if he accepted a seat on the Admiralty Board. He refers to reports that Seymour 'is on the point of being superseded by your Royal Highness', and requests that no change is made before Seymour's return.
