DescriptionTyrwhitt writes that he is happy that the Prince will not need assistance this year from [?William, Landgrave of Hesse-Kassel]. He refers to the Duke of Clarence's failed request for a loan of £20,000, and states that 'Veltheim advised me not to trouble Monseigneur any more on the business'.
He refers to Count Tauentzien's friendship for the Prince, and the service of Wedgwood given to him by the Prince. Tyrwhitt sends mineral waters to Admiral Payne which are 'great strengtheners of the stomach'.
