William explained that Garth (the Duke's Lieutenant Colonel) wished to succeed to the Deputy Quarter Master Generalship after the death of M[ajor] General Rey. He also states his intention to visit Cambridge when his son [Prince William Frederick] graduated, and that afterwards his son would be sent to Lyndhurst [possibly to the King's House located there].
