He also mentions that [Maria] Duchess [of Gloucester] had a recurrence of St, Anthony's Fire [inflamation of the skin]. The note from Princess Sophia explains that the accompanying letter was sent to Prince Albert, as he had asked for an example of [William Henry, Duke of Gloucester] her father's handwriting.
