Description
Volunteering and his harvest have prevented the Duke from paying attention to Jack Rodney's letter of August 19 - it is here enclosed for the Prince who will, from now on, take care of the matter in there expressed.
The Duke received a letter from Lord Titchfield communicating the King's acceptance of the Royal Spelthorne Legion [Volunteers]. He gives details of who (Lieutenants, Colonel, etc.) makes up this Legion. The Duke hopes that the Prince of Wales will agree to present the Colours of the Legion.
