Description
On that morning Prince William met with the Commander in Chief who presented to him all the Generals and field officers of the army, and was later addressed by the Governor General Robinson; he also met with Captains and Generals of various British Regiment.
Prince William gives an account of the state of the army and fleet and of the plans to when they will move southward.
He describes New York - the houses, streets, inhabitants, etc.and reasssures the King that he is behaving and meeting Admiral Majendies's approbation.
