Collection | Correspondence of William IV |
Description | The Duke is commanded by the Prince Regent to proceed with a Fleet to Boulogne Road in order to bring the King of Prussia, the Emperor of Russia [Alexander I] and the Emperor of Austria [Francis II], from the coast of France over to England. The Emperor of Russia will travel on board of HMS Sovereign, while the Emperor of Austria will be on board HMY Royal Charlotte; the King of Prussia, on the other hand, can decide whether to proceed aboard either these yachts, or on the Duke's flagship, HMS Impregnable. Thanking the King for the kindness received from Generals Bülow and Bessel during the time the Duke spent in Flanders with the Russian Army. |
