Description
Knowing how busy the Prince Regent is, the Duke has refrained from writing before, but now he writes out of concern for the Prince Regent's health - Mary [Princess Mary, Duchess of Gloucester and Edinburgh] sent a letter to the Duke informing him of the Prince being injured.
The Duke and Duchess [Adelaide] arrived in Hanover safely; they are very happy with the accommodation and with the warm welcome they received. He visited the ex-Bishop of Hildesheim and the 'whole of Harty', avoiding the University of Göttingen . He will soon set out [for England?] accompanied by the 'Doctor' and General Linsingen's [Charles Baron] Aide de Camp; the General will stay in Hanover with the Duchess until the Duke's return.
