The Duke is, once again, infinitely grateful to the King for another great favour to his family (after having provided the table-money for his son Adolphus FitzClarence's promotion): allowing his daughter the Countess of Erroll [Elizabeth Hay, Countess of Erroll] to occupy the apartments at Hampton Court which were in possession of Lady Emily [Harriet] Wellesday[-Pole]. The Duchess [Adelaide of Saxe-Meiningen] jons the Duke in expressing profound gratitude to the King.
