The Duke has received a polite letter from Lord Bute [John Stuart, 1st Marquess of Bute?] sending, following the Prince Regent's desire, his Proxy.
He refers to events recently occurred at Windsor and at the Queen's House - events that McMahon [Col. John] might have already referred to the Prince Regent: the Queen is very unwell and looking very old.
The Duke saw Arthur Paget who will visit the Prince Regent before going back to Vienna - he also mentions a conversation the Duke had with Mary [Princess Mary, Duchess of Gloucester and Edinburgh] regarding someone's intention to make matter related to Paget up [?].
