Making his excuses for the short letter, Prince William is sure Hanger [George, 4th Lord Coleraine] - who is carrying the letter - will say more; he will also tell Elphinstone [George, 1st Viscount Keith] that Prince William cannot sail with him.
Prince William asks George to send him some money and the single barrel gun that William had made in Hanover by Hundorf [?].
