DescriptionThe Prince received orders and instructions from Commodore Elliot [John] and the ship is ready for sea.
He has also received from Lord Howe a copy of the King's orders on foreign stations, to the commanding officers; from this it is evident that the Pegasus, and Prince William on it, will stay abroad until October 1789.
He appointed a good draftsman as School master on board.
The letter ends with Prince William's considerations about his professional and personal conduct.
