Description
Copies of letters written by Prince William, Captain Isaac Schomberg and Horatio Nelson, written by Mr Whitebread [considered by Prince William as a private secretary] on behalf of Prince William to testify of the disagreeable conduct of Schomberg who was disrepectful towards the Prince as commanding officer, and of his subsequent insolent attitude when accused of the fact.
The three accusations are: disobedience of orders; neglect of duty and disrespect for Prince William, as Commanding Officer.
Possibly sent as enclosed document to George Prince of Wales [see GEO/MAIN/44736-44737].
