Description	Expressing her delight and thanks for his letter: 'I kissed it as I could not kiss the dear Person that wrote it.' and that she is sorry to hear he is 'so troubled with affairs & believe me when I say how I wish that it was in my power to relieve you, I would do it with all my heart'. This morning she received a letter from her mother who mentioned 'a beautiful little seal' that he sent which she has not yet seen but will hopefully do so later on today. She is 'quite sensible of this additional mark of your kindness' and hopes to thank him in person before too long, a prospect at which she rejoices. She hopes his health is well and relays thanks and best wishes from Mrs Lucy who cannot write herself as being as she is 'rather blind of her left eye she cannot quite accomplish it as well as she could wish'
