TitleAccount book kept by General Jacob de Budé, 1772-1785, recording miscellaneous expenses including some for Prince Edward and Prince William.
DescriptionThe payments include payments to staff and tradesmen (named and unnamed), but generally do not specify the items purchased. Some sections record amount totals e.g. expenditure by month; and some pages are signed by de Budé [e.g. pages 92-93, which relate to the soujourn of one [?] of the Princes in Hanover between August 1783 and August 1784]. The accounts are listed in quarters of the year (e.g. Easter, October).

Page 65 is headed 'Prince William's Bills April 1780': the section following, up to page 79, may therefore possibly all refer to the Prince's bills.
