DescriptionHood remarks about Napier that 'I am free to own, I never before mett [sic] with a man of such disgustfull manners', and that others had made similar comments.
Hood describes the reception Prince William received while in Jamaica, noting that he made donations to various causes and also that he (Prince William) had sprained his ankle during a walk. Hood also records that it was decided that the Prince might give a standard to the 'Troop of militia Horse' which had voluntarily come to attend on him.
