WriterCresset, James
AddresseeLee, George, Sir (c.1700-1758)
DescriptionAbout the petition of the three cooks [who were in the service of the Prince of Wales and were discharged after his death; cfr GEO/MAIN/74036]: Cresset thinks that they should be helped only if they behave properly. If they keep insisting on getting some money out of the Princess of Wales, their request should be turned down. This because too many people have been taking advantage of the Princess' charity and kindness. He thanks Lee for the money given for Dudley.
