DescriptionThanking the King for his letter, the Duchess writes that they will return to Stuttgart in mid-October, which will save the expense of heating at Ludwigsburg, although she will miss the beautiful walks and prides herself on having taught her ladies to walk 4 or 5 miles. She is glad to have news of Lady Mary Paulet, and is sending the King a print painted in oils that she bought from a Mannheim print-seller.
