DescriptionRoyal seal still in tact. As recommended by Lord North (at the request of Lord Suffolk), George III gives permission for a warrant to be prepared to appoint Doctor Vivian as Regius Professor of Physick at Oxford University (to succeed Doctor Kelly). He will be required to read as many lectures as the Heads of Houses think necessary. George III encloses a list of servants required for his 3rd and 4th sons (William and Edward), now he has arranged two preceptors (teachers) to attend them.
