TitleMemorandum concerning the jewels, trinkets and furniture of the late Dowager Princess
Date[1772]
WriterGeorge III, King
DescriptionGeorge III writes that he will send copies of the inventory of jewels to his siblings previous to their sale. He says he does not intend to purchase any, but hopes that if they go to public auction it will not be made known that they belonged to the Dowager Princess. He believes there ought to also be a list of trinkets, and encloses keys of boxes that contain trinkets. He notes a reappraisal of trinkets, plate and china. He will take the furniture at Carlton House and Brunswick House
