DescriptionGeorge III leaves his libraries at Windsor Castle and the Queen's House to the Prince of Wales, and whoever succeeds him to the Crown. He leaves Queen Charlotte the jewels she has had use of as well as the houses, contents and lands at Kew Palace, Richmond, Kew Gate (purchased from Mrs Gordon) and Sheet Street, Windsor (which is after her death bequeathed to Princess Amelia). Princess Mary is to receive the house at Kew Gate purchased by Mrs Methold, Princess Augusta will have Augusta Lodge and the Duke of Gloucester the house at Weymouth and its contents. The houses on Kew Green are bequeathed to his sons the Dukes of Cumberland and Cambridge. The will is signed in the presence of the Earl of Cardigan, the Earl of Eldon and John Lord Redesdale.
