DescriptionHompesch describes the money he is owed by the government for the expenses of his Regiment of Hussars, and criticises the failure of the Government to treat his Regiment in the same way as a British Regiment as had been agreed. The documents also refer to the refusal to allow Hompesch's promotion to Major General, and suggestions that he pursue a petition of right to the crown. The documents include abstracts of accounts, and copies of letters, including legal opinions, with frequent annotations of observations on the content..
