Description[Lieutenant Henry Duperier (1772-1846) of the 18th Hussars [Regiment of Light Dragoons] served in both the Peninsular War and the Waterloo Campaign.] He claimed that in 1807 [when he was commissioned as a Cornet] a new Hussar Dress [uniform] and horse furniture were commissioned for him by George, Prince of Wales [1762-1830] and placed on the Prince's account, which remained unpaid in 1830.
