DescriptionWaller mentions that George IV fell asleep against a table (as was his custom); when he woke took his medicine and had the windows flung open. The King declared (whilst holding Waller's hand) 'My boy, this is death', closed his eyes, lent back in his chair, and never spoke again. When he died Sir Henry Halford, Sir Matthew Tierney, Sir William Knighton and Mr Brodie were in attendnace alongside Walker.
Notes that prior to death the King had not slept in a bed for a month.
