DescriptionPrince William likes his present situation but would like to avoid going abroad. No frigate is sent to relieve the HMS Lowestoff stationed off Plymouth.
He hopes to be given a guardship - possibly of the Lowestoff - after next summer, even he fears that it might not be the case. His principal wish is to stay away from home; he likes living in Plymouth and he begs his brother to help him in getting [command of]the Plymouth station.
