WriterClarence and St Andrews, William, Duke of
AddresseeKnighton, William, Sir [?]
DescriptionThe Duke appeals to Knighton to forward to the King a request about an issue which is concerning the Duke: the King gives annually 100 guineas to the Welsh and the Irish Establishment, but has never given money, quite as regularly, to the Scottish Corporation - despite that being also a Royal Foundation. The Duke, thus, thinks appropriate that the same sum will be given annually to the Scottish Corporation as well.
